Strahlenschutzmaßnahmen und Entsorgungskonzept für radioaktive Rückstände am Standort Puchheim in Bayern

In a residential area in Puchheim, during remediation work in 2020, residues of an old landfill with increased radioactivity were detected. The G.E.O.S. branch WISUTEC thereupon investigated the site. Decision was made to dispose the material, a concept was drawn up and radiation protection measures were planned. The excavation and disposal was done in summer 2020 and was supervised by WISUTEC.
