Separation and immobilisation of radioactive substances

As part of a project for a European customer, G.E.O.S. developed a processing method for the separation and immobilisation of radioactive substances from complex solid materials. In this process, the solids are brought into a solution and then selectively separated into components in a subsequent process.

G.E.O.S. developed the complete technology including immobilisation of the radioactive components in the lab environment and built a pilot-scale technical plant based on these results.
