Water Information Platform of the State Office for the Environment in Brandenburg working with the AL.VIS software suite

For the State Office of Environment in Brandenburg, the "Water Information Platform" was designed and developed for internal and external use. The geoinformatics department at the G.E.O.S. branch WISUTEC worked out the concept for the long-term development of the Water Information Platform and has since been significantly involved in its implementation.

With the AL.VIS product range, G.E.O.S. contributes significantly to the functionality of the Water Information Platform. This includes web-based search options for water management facilities, for data from surface water and groundwater monitoring, for property ownership or for measures implemented to comply with the European Water Framework Directive (WFD measures).

The aim of the Water Information Platform is to provide all employees of the authorities involved with quality-assured information in a quick and uncomplicated manner. All searches can be interconnected and are integrated with a powerful web GIS.
